In anticipation of the implementation of the .eu registrar Code of Conduct in late March, EURid invites accredited registrars to present themselves as candidates for membership of the Definite Council of Conduct.
Definite Council members will be elected by way of lottery and the Council will rule on complaints filed against subscribing registrars according to the prescribed Rules and Procedures. It will also be the instrument by which change to the Code of Conduct is effected. Members seated on the Definite Council will serve a two year term before being replaced by new members who will also have been elected by lottery.
Registrars wanting to present their candidacy for membership of the Definite Council are requested to send an email to conduct@eurid.euThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by Tuesday, 20 March 2007. The email must contain the candidate’s registrar ID and a clear statement that he wishes to be seated on the Definite Council. Please note that only .eu accredited registrars that have subscribed to the Code may present themselves as candidates for the Council.
