EURid seeks ADR providers for .eu

EURid seeks Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers for .eu domain names.

Please note that we are not looking to engage ADR panellists.

ADR is a requirement of the Regulation 733/2002 on the implementation of .eu. The ADR rules and procedures must reflect the Public Policy Rules set by the European Commission and take into consideration the recommendations of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

We are committed to provide services in as many official EU languages as possible and are seeking to engage suitably experienced and qualified body(ies) to provide ADR services for .eu domain names in one or more of the Official EU languages. We are looking for organisations with experience in providing arbitration or ADR, preferably in the IT or domain name area.

ADR providers will need to establish a web site provide the agreed rules, procedures and complaints handling facilities in their elected languages. They will need to receive complaints, check that they meet the criteria, inform relevant parties, engage panellist and process complaints and decisions in accord with the deadlines set out in the Public Policy Rules.

Full rules and procedures will be created with all the selected ADR bodies to a ensure uniform service across Europe.
