23 May 2007—BUSINESS EUROPE has, upon invitation, become the latest associate member of the .eu registry. The non-profit organisation, whose main aim is to achieve growth and competitiveness for businesses within Europe, comprises 39 members; central industrial and employers’ federations from 33 countries. An affiliation between BUSINESS EUROPE and EURid was a natural step as .eu can be used as a means to increase the focus on businesses within the European Union.
