In anticipation of the 1st of January, when Romania and Bulgaria join the EU and their residents become eligible to register .eu domain names, EURid is setting up information seminars in Sofia and Bucharest on Dec 14 and 15. These seminars will be aimed at existing as well as potential registrars and others with a professional interest in domain names. Their purpose will be to inform participants of the possibility of becoming .eu registrars and the role of the registrar once accredited. Those present will also receive background information on .eu.
