CZECH ARBITRATION COURT publishes rules and fees for ADR

Call for specialists in Intellectual Property

Earlier this year, EURid appointed the Prague-based Czech Arbitration Court (CAZ) to provide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for disputes about .eu domain names.

The Czech Arbitration Court now announces that it has prepared ADR Rules and Supplemental Rules, as requested by the European Commission in its Public Policy Rules for .eu (EC Regulation 874/2004). These rules, together with arbitration fees, are now available at the Court’s preliminary web site eu.adr.eu

ADR proceedings will be carried out in the language selected by the holder of the disputed domain name. This means the Czech Arbitration Court will provide .eu ADR administration in all 20 EU languages, supported by a network of expert panellists from every member state. Therefore, the Court invites interested experts in Intellectual Property to apply to become panellists for .eu disputes. Prospective panellists should present strong credentials. Detailed requirements and further information regarding the applications are available at the preliminary website of the Czech Arbitration Court at eu.adr.eu
