4 April 2007—Following a period during which the proposed .eu registrar Code of Conduct was open for comments from accredited registrars and the Internet community at large, EURid, secretariat to the Code, hosted the first Code of Conduct meeting in Lisbon last Thursday, 29 March.

The meeting marked the official entering into force of the Code’s Charter which, in the days since its introduction, has already attracted a significant number of subscribers.
