Brussels, 26 October 2011 – EURid, the .eu top-level domain registry, will be present at the DailyWeb Conference in Bratislava, Slovakia on 8 November 2011 to continue to raise the visibility of .eu domain names in the Slovak market.
In Slovakia, .eu registrations grew by over 13% in the year to Q2 2011 and there are currently more than 30 000 .eu domain names registered to Slovak businesses, organisations and individuals. The .eu extension is ideally suited for businesses with cross-border operations by enabling companies to express the fact that they are open for business in other European Union markets.
In addition to EURid being a conference sponsor, .eu staff will be available to answer questions about the benefits of being online with .eu. Webglobe and WebHouse, two Slovak .eu accredited registrars, will also be present at the conference.
